Our standard rental includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which limits your financial liability in the event of accidental damage to the rental vehicle.

• Base Excess: €700 This is the default excess included in all rentals and applies to any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period.

For additional peace of mind, you can reduce your liability by choosing one of our optional excess reduction plans:

1. Enhanced Cover
   • Excess Amount: €500
   • Ideal for travelers seeking added security and reduced financial exposure.
   • Easily upgrade to Enhanced Cover during the booking process or at pickup.
2. Premium Shield
   • Excess Amount: €150
   • Our top-tier protection plan, offering maximum peace of mind for worry-free driving.
   • Perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking for comprehensive coverage.

• Credit Card Pre-Authorization: The applicable excess amount (€700, €500, or €150) will be pre-authorized on your credit card at the start of the rental as a security measure.
• Coverage Inclusions:
  • Accidental damage to the rental vehicle.
  • Fire and theft protection.
• Insurance Exclusions: The following are not covered under any CDW plan:
  • Damage to the underside, tires, wheels, roof, and windscreen unless caused by a third-party collision.
  • Damages due to off-road driving or negligence.
  • Lost or stolen keys.
  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle.
• Additional Costs: A fee of €60 plus tax applies if the vehicle requires extensive cleaning beyond standard use.

• Choose your desired excess reduction plan when booking online or at the rental office.
• Our team will assist you in selecting the right coverage based on your travel plans and preferences.

While we strive to provide comprehensive coverage for your peace of mind during the rental period, it's important to note that certain situations are exempt from insurance coverage. Understanding these exemptions ensures you are fully aware of the conditions under which you are protected and helps prevent any unexpected liabilities. Please review the following scenarios where insurance coverage does not apply:

• Additional Drivers: Only individuals listed on the rental agreement as drivers are covered by the insurance. If a non-listed individual operates the vehicle, insurance coverage is void.
• Impaired Driving: Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs driving ability immediately nullifies all insurance coverage.
• Traffic Violations: Disregarding traffic regulations, including but not limited to, speeding, running red lights, or illegal turns, can result in the forfeiture of your insurance coverage.
• Off-Road Driving: Our vehicles are meant for standard road use. Driving off-road is a breach of the rental agreement and voids insurance coverage.
• Overloading the Vehicle: Safety regulations dictate the maximum number of passengers each vehicle can legally carry. Exceeding this limit voids insurance coverage, and please remember, infants are counted as passengers too.
• Key Mismanagement: Lost or stolen keys fall outside our insurance coverage. Additionally, any theft occurring as a result of keys left in the vehicle is considered negligence and is not covered.
• Theft of Personal Belongings: Our insurance does not cover the theft of personal items from the vehicle. We recommend keeping valuables secure and not leaving them unattended in the car.
• Interior Damages: Damages to the vehicle's interior are not covered unless they result from a collision for which you are not at fault, as outlined in our CDW policy.
